Overview
This dressmaking course will take you from learning how to use your sewing machine to following a commercial pattern. During the student’s first year they can expect to produce a number of garments. Garments include skirt, blouse, pants and jacket/dress. This course covers 50% of the Fashion Design course Year 1 requirements. Hence, students have the option of continuing into the Design course if they so wish. Dressmaking is a great past time and more than that, for many, dressmaking has become an alternative source of income!

Course Times
The Dressmaking course runs for 1 year. There are 3 terms per year. Students have the option of attending the course:
One morning per week from 10:00 to 13:00
or
One night per week from 19:30 to 21:30

Fees
Fee per term: €200. There are 10 weeks in a term. Students can take the course term by term and are under no obligation to stay for the full year.
